Terry is presently enrolled in the music program at
Humber College. He is currently completing his third year, and has
aspirations of completing a Degree in Music. His musical influences
include Southern and Contemporary Gospel, Negro-Spirituals,
Classical, Traditional Gospel, Soul, Blues, Jazz. The following
artist has influenced Terry’s style, Commissioned, The Winans,
James Hall, Hezekiah Walker, Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, Herbie
Hancock and Stevie Wonder.
Terry’s accomplished musical skills have been
featured with numerous groups and choirs through out North America.
Groups from Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Detroit, Huntsville, Bermuda
and Jamaica have been blessed by Terry’s keyboarding
contributions. Terry has had the opportunity to share the stage with
such talented gospel artists as Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ,
Virtue, Commissioned and Keith Staten just to name a few.
Terry has contributed his talents in various
capacities including: Music Director, Musician and Co-ordinator
several gospel groups and choirs. Currently, he is the music
director for the group Called to Witness which included 1998
Juno Award winner Carlos Morgan and new recording artist Expression
of Praise. Terry plays keyboards for Toronto recording artist Selections.
He is presently producing the repertoire for a musical to debut at
the Ford Center for the Performing Arts in 1999. Terry can currently
be heard on the Da Guys, "Chillin" jazz album.
Terry’s lyrics and music on the Expression of
Praise debut album shows a level of maturity beyond his years.
He manages to fuse blues, jazz, classical and other genres of music
into "To whom it May Concern". The result is a signature
sound with a distinct blend of the explosive and joyful expression
of traditional gospel music, with the youthful vibes of today’s
