Reunion for Expression of Praise |

of Praise will have a reunion on August 9, 2008 starting at Apple Creek
Seventh-day Adventist Church in Markham Ontario. The morning worship
service will feature songs by the new and old members. The reunion will bring
together new and old members to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Album
release of their Juno nominated album "To whom it May Concern". The
reunion will also feature the return of the former choir director Brian
Sinclair (now of Dallas Texas) and Terry Henry the albums producer and musical
director (now residing in Bermuda) and many others..
Saturday
night at 8:30pm will feature a concert presented by Gospelnation showcasing
Expression of Praise with members past and present and a excellent band lead
by former Musical director Terry
Henry. The concert will be held in on the premises of Refuge City Pentecostal
Church where the Ajax Seventh-day Adventist Community Church now
worships. The concert will run the same as
the album release did 10 years ago with patron received an Expression of
Praise "To Whom It May Concern Album" on entry

n Tuesday May, 21, The Toronto Gospel Community lost a prominent
dedicated and loyal leader.
Jeff Laws died suddenly at 40 years old after visiting the hospital on Tuesday May 21, 2002 for medical issue. Laws started his vision in April 1990 when he began his youth choir called
"Heaven Bound" since then Jeff has been dedicated to youth choirs in Toronto.
His choirs have also been known as "Lawson Ensemble" and "Jeff Laws and the Voice"
and produced some of Toronto's Gospel singers.
He spent many hours dedicating his time leading youth to Christ through song.
His efforts lead one of the GospelNation owners to Christ.
Jeff Laws and the Voice performed at the Expression of Praise Album Release.
His funeral took place Monday May 27, 2002 at his home church. It was attended by many musicians and choirs all who had come in contact with his Ministry praised the Lord in music on the solemn occasion. His childhood friend award winning Choir Director and Producer Hezekiah Walker made the trip from the new York.

xpression of Praise choir director Brian Sinclair was presented with an award for best Choir Director at the Ontario Gospel Music Awards held on Sunday February 27, 2000. EOP Tenor Crew member Duane Wellington also received and award. The Princess Hollywood was the venue for this event which also recognized Sharon Riley and Faith Chorale, the Harvielites and Selections.

xpression of Praise appears on National TV in Canada this weekend on CBC with Canadian superstar Anne Murray. The concert special, ANNE MURRAY'S WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD, makes its world-wide television premiere Sunday, February 27, at 8 p.m. ET on CBC-TV. Other artists include Sharon Riley & Faith Chorale and multi-million selling Arista recording artist Deborah Cox. CBC on-air special website.
